Henry Got a New Battery Today!

. . . and I just have to say how much I love love LOVE Triple A. This is the second time since the new year that I have had to call them and I am so happy I joined (it was only 40-something bucks for the whole year). They are always so polite and helpful on the phone, they always get someone there almost immediately, and the people they send are also so friendly and helpful. There's nothing like great customer service to really make me feel great about the world.

Today the problem was that I needed a jump start. I figured campus police would do it, but apparently it's a liability problem for them so they won't. So I called Triple A and the guy they sent not only jumped my car, but then tested the alternator (which is working fine!) and the battery. When the tester device couldn't tell if it was working well enough or not he had me turn off the car and try again. It turned out the battery was dead, but he actually had the right kind right there with him and installed it for me on the spot! He charged my card for 120 bucks, had me check to make sure it would turn on and everything was working properly, and was then on his way, all in less than half an hour. I thought this would take forever and be a huge hassle and that if the battery was dead I would have to go somewhere and get a new one and then get it installed and it would be such a problem . . . but everything worked out so easily and conveniently. Yay Triple A!
